Dimitri Vegas was born in 1982, he started dj-ing when he was 14. In his first years, he did a lot of small parties and was resident Dj for the radio BeatFM. Due to a lucky coincidence he left Belgium 1999 and started playing across europe. He lived in Mallorca, afterwards Halkidiki (Greece) before moving to Ibiza in 2003. In Ibiza he was resident Dj in Bubbles, and played for Garbi, Kiss, Privilege Ibiza Clubbing Tour plus did an appearance in Space Ibiza. During this time, his dj-sets were all over the internet & radio's like Beatfm broadcasted his sessions for years, streamed live from across Europe.
In the next years he moved to Mallorca again, afterwards Canarian Islands and finally the British clubbing resort Zante ( Greece ) where he was resident in Amnesia & The End in 2006. Fall 2006, he returns to belgium to team up with his brother, Like Mike, to produce their first release 'La Cocaina/Eivissa 2007' and their 2007 remix of the anthem 'Push - Universal Nation' on the legendary Bonzai Records ( http://www.bonzaimusic.com) .
