On September 30th, VRIJ! and RiddimUp will be hosting the first annual Miss RiddimUp competition. "I'm not looking for a beauty or dancehall queen, I'm looking for THE WHOLE package, a Dancehall Diva to represent for the brand RiddimUp for the coming year." - Taro Merkman, founder RiddimUp
The competition will take place during the upcoming monthly edition of VRIJ! Meets RiddimUp in the Hague on September 30th and will feature the final 5 contestants who made the cut.
With the crown of Miss RiddimUp 2011, the winner will be featured on the next RiddimUp event flyer, Mixtape cover as well as represent RiddimUp during events and in music videos. Next to all of the above, the winner will also receive a professional photoshoot by Yasmine Rose Photography for a RiddimUp modelling portfolio, a free dance workshop by DTD, and a RiddimUp publicity kit by CraftyPR. A complete package to take properly represent RiddimUp and possibly take on a new career within the Dancehall scene!
The competition on September 30th will consist of 3 rounds where the 5 contestants will compete in Swimsuit, Dance and Club outfit. The ultimate winner should be able to rock a swim suite, move like a dancehall queen and rock a freakum dress in da club!
Candidates have until September 16th to register for the competition.
How to register?
Send 2 pictures and a small motivation of yourself. If you like, you can even send us a video! Participants must be living in The Netherlands. Applications need to be a sent to riddimup@hh-empire.com
