At the age of 14 I started listening to HipHop and R'n'B music. Influenced by radio shows I started to get interested in DJ'ing. After I started going out and fucking around at some local hangout spots I seriously got into DJ'ing and bought 2 Technics and started practicing on my mixing and scratching skillz at the age of 16.

Together with Dj Poison and CBass , who were also starting DJ's, we formed "X-Rated'. It was also then I was exposed to Dancehall music ( Ragga, also known as bubbling in Holland for some strange reason.)


After spinning very un(der)paid at every party, coffeeshop or where ever I could, people noticed my style which combined underground and mainstream HipHop, Dancehall and R'n'B. People especially liked the Dancehall I was playing which set me apart from other DJ's. So I decided to make a strictly Dancehall MixCD, which was very well received. The CD quickly spread trough Amsterdam and Holland, and this way I started making a name for myself. This helped me get in contact with other Dj's and promoters and this way I spinned on occasion as a guest DJ at places like Odeon, Melkweg, Collisee and multi-schoolparty's. This way I got more experienced spinning for different audiences, learning to adapt to them while still keeping my own identity.

Eventually this lead to more and more bookings. I've spinned at concerts and afterpartys of acts like Afu-Ra, Wu Tang Killabeez, Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys etc. I also performed at the Lowlands festival 2002 alongside acts like, Korn, Saian Supa Crew, Brainpower, Israel Vibration, Dj Shadow etc. You can check me spinning at the "Wax" partyz @ Mazzo, R&B Freakparty @ Kade, Gimme The Light @ Madness and Knockout @ Melkweg every now and then.


After CBass left X-Rated to concentrate on his producing and rapping, DJ Qlick joined X-Rated. We started practising spinning on 4 decks and 2 mixers which sets us apart from other DJ-Teams. Shortly after that the first mixcd "We Came To Party" was released.

Nowadays I spin all kinds of HipHop R&B and Dancehall flavours. Don't be surprised when you hear some New Jack Swing, Reggae, Funk, Soul, UK Garage, Classics or whatever, because of my diversity I can rock ANY crowd anywhere. I have been DJ'ing at spots like Mazzo, Melkweg, Q, Mystic City, Duivel, Nightlife, Kade, Patronaat, Item, Powerzone, P60, Madness etc…


In the near future you should be on the lookout for my new MixCD'z. the "Get Freaky" series provide the best dancehall & ragga tunes, "HomeGrown" on the other hand is keeping it strictly HipHop, and the new `Waxtrax´ series with Dj Precise N Shyrock combining the newest and hottest HipHop R&B and Dancehall flavaz every 2 months.
