R.Kelly verteld eindelijk zijn eigen verhaal in opkomend biografie!
R&B superster R.Kelly zal binnekort een memoires uitbrengen genaamd “Soulacoaster”. De Grammy award winnaar zegt hierover: “Ik schrijf dit boek als Robert en niet als R.Kelly.”
R.Kelly heeft de laatste jaren veel persoonlijke en zakelijke tegenslagen moeten doorstaan. Van strafrechtelijke zaken, echtscheding en op radio blacklisten staan tot aan beef met Jay-Z.
Toch blijft hij bekend staan als een van de beste R&B zangers van deze tijd.
Hij gelooft dat hij met zijn biografie de mensen een inzicht kan geven van wat er nou werkelijk allemaal is gebeurt. Hij zegt hierover:
"I'm tired of being misunderstood. I will show you the tears, fears, and sweat. I will open my heart and reveal the good in my life as well as all the drama. I want to tell it like it is."
Samen met auteur David Ritz schreef R.kelly het boek dat word beschreven als deels autobiografisch en deels als aandenken. “Soulacoaster” opent de deur naar R.Kelly’s verhaals zoals alleen hij dat kan vertellen en hij belooft zijn fans een onvergetelijke rit.
In januari kwam zijn album ‘Love Letter’ uit, een ode aan soul legendes als Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway en Marvin Gaye.
